Uniform
The wearing of uniform supports a sense of belonging to the school community. We encourage children to take pride in their appearance and ask that school aged children wear school uniform from the items listed in the document above. The wearing of uniform in nursery is optional.
Please do not bring rucksacks into school as we do not have the space to store them. Children should bring their belongings to school in a school book bag.
All items with a school logo are available to buy from the Webb Ellis Uniform Shop in Rugby or second hand through the school office. Please contact the school office for the most up to date list of school stock. There is no expectation that branded uniform is worn, children are welcome to wear unbranded uniform.
Please name all items, including shoes, with your child’s name so that we can return lost property to the correct owner.
Your child will also receive a book bag and water bottle when they start school in reception, paid for by the PTA.
Do I need to provide spare clothes?
Children are generally able to use the toilet before they start school, but it is usual for children to occasionally have a toileting accident. On these occasions we will change the children into fresh, clean spare clothing from school and the soiled clothing will be sent home to you in a carrier bag. We ask that you wash the spare clothing and return it to school as soon as you are able to. If you are aware that your child may need some support with toileting, please let us know so that we can put the correct support in place for them.
The school provides a personal budget to support with uniform costs for any child in receipt of benefits related free school meals, and provides uniform for all refugee children. Information regarding this will be sent out to eligible parents each academic year. Please contact the school office if you need any support in this area.
